All the right sounds for your player's in-game shopping trips

This audio pack was originally posted to my Patreon on September 4th 2017 but I figured that it'd be nice to put it up on itch.io as well to make it easier to find!

I've made a free convenience store audio pack, which includes sound effects, as well as three original pieces in different genres that you can use for your commercial and non-commercial games.

SFX:

  • Two store announcement chimes (for each an announcement ending and starting sound).
  • Cash register drawer closing and opening.
  • Coins falling on the counter.
  • Handing over coins.
  • Entrance chime.
  • Register scan.
  • Two store ambiance loops.

Music:

  • Jazzy Shop: A calmer jazz piece.
  • Poppy Shop (including a store-authentic frequency cutoff version): A more upbeat piece that emulates the sound of Japanese convenience stores.
  • Quirky Shop: A more lighthearted piece inspired by RPGs and adventure games like Zelda.

Additional info:

Both versions of Poppy Shop have the reverb tail attached to their beginning for seamless looping, so I'd highly advise to fade them in.

The midpass version of Poppy Shop is the "more authentic" one, because the quality of the audio usually diminishes when it's coming from the speakers in a store.
